Katrina Kaif’s recent not- so- controversial 'controversial' statement about Congress scion, Rahul Gandhi has brought her back in the limelight. Apparently, the BJP is now ready to cash in on the drama and is thus planning to invite Katrina for their election campaign.
A few days ago, the actress made a statement referring to the fact that both Kat and Rahul were half- Indian and half- European. This statement had angered the Congress so much that she had to immediately issue an apology letter. And as the famous saying goes ‘ the enemy of an enemy is a friend’, the BJP now reportedly wants Kat to be the face of their party in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls and Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections next year.
BJP feels that whatever Kaif said was right and has hailed her as the first person who had the courage to say the truth. Whether or not Kat accepts this offer or not, only time will tell. But seriously, trust our politicians to make propaganda out of perfectly innocuous statements!
